Your NDIS SDA plan covers most of your rent
We only require a reasonable rent contribution from you, set by the NDIS at 25% of your disability support pension. Our aim is to make disability housing accessible, and in doing so, to help people to live their best life.
The NDIS fund supports the capacity to live independently in the community. For people with complex needs, this includes the costs of living in a house with specialised design and features.
What does this mean?
It means the NDIS SDA plan pays for the physical property – the bricks and mortar – for those people who have extreme functional impairment or very high support needs and require a suitable home to enable them to live more independently and receive the support they need.
It also means, if this is you, only a reasonable rent contribution is required. This contribution is capped at 25% of your disability support pension. Unlike other housing providers, we are not driven by profits.
WE ARE DRIVEN TO HELP YOU TO LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE
