What kind of information do we collect and hold?
SDA Australia group collects personal information which is necessary to provide a participant with Specialist Disability Accommodation. We also collect data for mailing purposes to advertise our available properties, when you provide feedback or ask a question, and use non identifying information for analytic, social media and website improvement. This can include, but is not limited to:
- Information you give us when you request a product or service from us. This information may include your name and contact details.
- Gender, date of birth, age, and details about participants physical or mental health, including disabilities
- Information about participants support requirements
- Details of guardians and nominees, including names and contact details
- Specialist Disability Accommodation Funding

How do we use your personal information?
We use your personal information collected from you to provide you with information, updates, opportunities available to you, improve our products and services and better understand your needs. We may contact you by a variety of measures including, but not limited to telephone, email, SMS or mail. We also use non identifying information for website analytics and may use it for other uses.
SDA Australia Group will not use your personal information for direct marketing purposes unless:
- We have obtained your consent or you would reasonably expect us to use your personal information for direct marketing purposes; and
- We have provided you with a simple means to “opt-out” from receiving direct marketing; and
- We have not received such a request from you
