As a quality Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) provider, there’s lots of things we get asked about SDA, our properties and more. Here’s a few FAQ’s about SDA Australia Group that you might not know!
Pet Friendly?
We all know having a fido or kitty can improve your physical and psychological health, so SDA Australia Group allows all our tenants to have pets. Pets enhance social connectedness, are great conversation starters and having a pet even can mean fewer visits to the doctor. Whether your friend is furry or scaly it’s welcome at any of our properties.
What are the inclusions?
Depending on the category of property, our homes can have different inclusions. In a High Physical Support home we have back up emergency power, knee toe clearances and adjustable benches. In our Robust homes we have vandal proof door handles, recessed lighting and a secure yard.
All of our homes also come with a dishwasher, so there’s one less thing you need to worry about.
Where are your properties located?
We have properties all-over South-East Queensland, we’ve also got upcoming properties in Mackay, Emerald, Bundaberg, Fraiser Coast, Longreach, Rockhampton, scenic rim, South Burnett, Southern Downs, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba regions.
“Location Location Location.” Everyone knows the quote, but location really is important to us. We only choose areas that are close to infrastructure and public transport, so you’re not always kept back by needing to wait for a support worker to take you somewhere.
What if I have a certain area in mind?
Have you already got your dream home all worked out? Don’t see the area you want to live in on our properties? We also do custom homes and will try our best to help you get a property where you want to live.
I want to get involved, Can I buy a property?

I’m have a disability and I’m on the aged pension, can I apply for a home?
You’ll need to be on the NDIS and have SDA funding to move into one of our Specialist Disability Accommodation homes. You can read more about whether you’re eligible here.
